Shipping your package to Record Clinic
You're gonna turn your media over to Record Clinic for treatment.
You can order our shipping kits which will guarantee a secure delivery of your discs and other media by their adapted format. In addition, the kit will be refunded to you when you order the service to be done. All you will need is a roll of moving tape and follow the instructions in the kit, then drop your package off at the mail office or the carrier of your choice.
In case of additional insurance, and if you wish, please inform us (contact@recordclinic.fr) so that we can forward your media with a similar insurance. The cost of this additional insurance is at the customer's expense. We remind you that the customer is generally asked to be able to justify the value of the goods when it comes to using the carrier's insurance.
If you wish to pack your shipment yourself, please follow these tips:
- Only send your sleeve if you want a sanitization, cleaning service or if you have opted for an Ultimate cleaning service. You will save weight and will not put your record sleeves at risk,
- Place the discs in their inner sleevess one on top of the other and separate them with a 12inc. x 12inc. sheet of single flute cardboard every 10 records,
- Wrap this stack of records with a tightly fitting bubble wrap and tape it down with wide adhesive tape. Do not allow the records to move in this package,
- Place this package in a cardboard box, if possible double-fluted, as tight as possible. Do not hesitate to wedge the disc stack in the cardboard box with paper, bubble wrap or other material. Do not allow the record stack to move in the box.
Re-shipment of your package
Packages are generally dispatched within 5 to 10 days after receipt of payment and media to be processed. They are shipped via Mondial Relais or Colissimo with a tracking number and delivered without signature if the weight is less than 5 Kg (colissimo). Whichever shipment choice you make, we will provide you with a link to track your package online.
Shipping costs include preparation and packaging as well as postage. Shipping costs vary according to the total weight of the package. We recommend that you group all your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.
The dimensions of our packages are appropriate and your items are properly protected.
